Absolutely not. Our oils are designed to work specifically with our state of the art, cold air diffusion technology. How this works is by  breaking down the oils into nano-particles and then releasing them as a  cool, dry mist throughout the ventilation system. This means that not  only will there be no residue or damage to your ventilation system- it's  safe around artwork, pets, children, and furniture.

Hardly ever! The only maintenance is to change your oil bottle when empty. To have a longer life span for your machine it is recommended to clean the machine with Alcohol between oil change. Simply before you pour new oil into the bottle,  pour some alcohol in the empty bottle and clean the bottle with alcohol, pour fresh alcohol in the bottle and run the system for 5 minutes, then empty the alcohol from the bottle and pour the new oil in the bottle and run the system. This will clean the nozzle from clogging and your system will perform better.

Cold air diffusion is the latest technology in the scenting industry. It  works by using high amounts of air pressure to compress oils into a dry  mist of nano-particles. This cold air diffusion technology is used in  all DucoAroma diffusing systems and ensures consistent and subtle scenting without high or low points in the scenting process.

In order for the system to work the fan must be on. During cool weather turn the fan on your central air conditioner to the ON position (as  opposed to AUTO) to ensure the fragrance continues to circulate  throughout your home. You can also get a Nest Thermostat, which has the option of scheduling your fan to turn on   same schedule as your diffuser.

It depends on how long the machine runs for, in average if your setting is on our recommendation 120 Sec work time and 60 Sec Pause time and runs from 8 am to 11PM you would have 3  weeks of running time. Some people tend to run it for 8 hours a day, so it will last longer.

We want to ensure that our fragrances are healthy and safe. All of our  fragrances are free from harmful chemicals commonly found in plug-ins and aerosols. You won't find parabens, pthalates nor propellants in our  fragrances. All of our pure essential oils are IFRA (International Fragrance Association) compliant. 

No DucoAroma units can also be used with the fan or heat settings in the central air conditioning  system. Please note that warm air will give you a slightly stronger  fragrance. So during colder months or winter you will have slightly stronger fragrance being diffuse through the HVAC systerm. 

Since our oils contain pure essential oils and plant essences, do not  apply these oils topically as they are in pure, undiluted form. If you  get oil on your hands, wash the area with soap and water. These Oils have been specifically made to be used in diffusers.

In the older houses, the HVAC ducts sometimes either are dirty or were not distributed evenly, so you need to put your setting at a higher level or you can try using more stronger scents, some scents are stronger than others. You can chat with one of our technicians and they'll be able to recommend a stronger scents. Sometimes you need to use a bigger machine if you want stronger smell if none of the above works
